StrategiQ Labs is a digital studio based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. We design, build and market websites, e-commerce storefronts, mobile applications and AI-powered products for clients in Sri Lanka and abroad.

These terms apply to every engagement with us unless a signed agreement between us says otherwise. By briefing us, accepting a proposal, or paying an invoice, you accept these terms.

Every engagement starts with a written proposal that sets out scope, timeline, deliverables and price. Work begins when the proposal is accepted in writing (email counts) and any agreed deposit is paid.

We build a buffer of roughly 15% into fixed-scope work for in-scope changes. Genuine scope changes are written up as a short addendum with a price, agreed before the extra work starts.

Prices are quoted in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) unless agreed otherwise; USD invoicing is available on request for overseas clients.

We accept card payments (Visa / Mastercard), bank transfer, cash, and KOKO instalment payments where offered. Card and KOKO payments are processed by third-party payment providers under their own terms.

Fixed-scope projects are typically invoiced as a deposit on kickoff with the balance across agreed milestones. Retainers are invoiced monthly in advance. Invoices are payable within 30 days unless the proposal says otherwise.

If an invoice is materially overdue we may pause work until it is settled. We will always tell you before we pause.

On full payment, you own the deliverables we created for you — designs, code, content and accounts set up in your name. Until full payment, we retain ownership of the work.

We retain the right to reuse general-purpose tooling, libraries and know-how that are not specific to your business, and to show the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to in writing.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content, data and materials you give us, and for having the rights to use them.

Timelines assume timely feedback. If a project stalls for more than 30 days waiting on your input, we may close it out and invoice for work completed; restarting is scheduled as a new booking.

We keep your business information confidential and expect the same for ours. A mutual NDA is available on request and can be signed before the first call.

We warrant that work is carried out with reasonable skill and care. We fix defects in delivered work reported within 30 days of handover at no charge.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability under an engagement is capped at the fees you paid for that engagement, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits.

Either side can end an engagement in writing. You pay for work completed and committed third-party costs up to the end date. Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy.

Retainers can be paused or cancelled with notice before the next monthly cycle begins.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Colombo.
