Web Design &
Development.

Sites built from the structure out — a content model that matches how your business actually works, a design system that survives contact with real content, and front-end code that holds its performance budget under load.

The
Capabilities.

Six areas of work. On a typical engagement we lead with two or three and keep the rest available as the programme develops.

  • Design systems

A token layer, a type scale, and named components — so the tenth page costs a fraction of the first and nothing drifts.

  • Front-end engineering

Next.js and React, server-rendered by default. Interactive islands only where interaction actually happens.

  • Content modelling

Structure defined before layout. Your team edits fields that mean something, not a wall of rich text.

  • Performance budgets

Core Web Vitals targets agreed up front and enforced in CI, so a regression fails the build rather than the launch.

  • Accessibility

Semantic structure, real focus states, keyboard paths, and contrast checked against WCAG AA as a build gate.

  • Analytics & instrumentation

Events modelled around the decisions you need to make, wired before launch rather than bolted on after.

Start to finish

How It
Runs.

Five stages, each ending in something you can hold — a document, an environment, a live deployment. No stage closes on a status update alone.

  1. Audit & architecture

We map the current site's structure, performance, and search footprint, then define the information architecture and the content model underneath it.

    You receive

Architecture document, content model, performance baseline

  2. Design system

Type scale, colour tokens, spacing rhythm, and the component set — designed against your real content, never lorem.

    You receive

Figma system, component inventory, responsive specs

  3. Build

Components first, pages second. Staged on a live preview URL from week one so you review the real thing, not a picture of it.

    You receive

Staging environment, weekly builds, component library

  4. Hardening

Performance, accessibility, and cross-browser passes. Budgets wired into CI so the numbers hold after we hand over.

    You receive

Lighthouse and axe reports, CI gates, redirect map

  5. Launch & handover

DNS cutover, monitoring, and a working session with your team on the CMS and the design system.

    You receive

Live site, monitoring, documentation, training session

Questions

Asked before we start

Do you work with an existing design?
Yes. If you have a design system or brand guidelines we build to them. If the design is a set of flat comps, we'll usually propose extracting a system from it first — it's cheaper than rebuilding page by page.
Which CMS do you use?
It depends on who edits it and how often. We most often ship headless setups where content is structured and reusable, but we'll recommend WordPress where the team already knows it and the content model is simple.
What happens after launch?
You own the code and the accounts outright. Maintenance and support is a separate ongoing engagement if you want it, not a lock-in.
